My Makeup Philosophy

To start this blog I wanted to touch on what kind of makeup I have and use and what my makeup looks are usually like. Being the cliche broke college student that I am I tend to focus on drug store makeup, however I am constantly lusting over higher end makeup. I think there are high end pieces that are staples in a makeup collection, what I do have high end wise has been given to me as gifts or something I have researched and saved for. I love watching the beauty gurus rave about Tarte and Benifit, but I think the average woman tends to have more drug-store makeup. The high end makeup i do have is the Lorac Mega Pro Palette, Urban Decay's Naked One and Naked Three, The Balm's Nude Tude and Balmsai, They're Real mascara, some Urban Decay eyeliner and the infamous beauty blender and some random pieces acquired from Glossy Boxes. My all time favorite products from the drug store are: Revlon Color Stay foundation, the Maybaline Age Rewind Under eye Concealer, NYX Dewy Setting Spray, the Maybelline Color Stays, and any NYX lip gloss. In terms of my makeup style I love neutral and warm tones eye colors, I tend to gravitate to moderate to heavy smokey eyes in neutral hues. I typically keep the rest of my face pretty basic, I love playing with eyes and focusing on them. I can't wait to share these looks and reviews and so much more!
